Mr. David Foster-Koth serves as Chief Fiduciary Officer at Altruist Trust Co. & Fiduciary Services, Inc. (Altruist™), where he leads the trust administration department and a dedicated team of trust officers, administrators, and support staff. Emphasizing Altruist’s client-first culture and principles, he ensures careful adherence to each underlying trust agreement and upholds the highest fiduciary standards, regulatory compliance, strategic oversight, and exceptional client support. Mr. Foster-Koth values personal connections and collaborative relationships—seeking to understand every beneficiary’s needs and goals while boldly doing what is right, not simply what is easy.

Mr. Foster-Koth focuses on thorough trust administration and beneficiary advocacy. He draws on decades of specialized fiduciary knowledge to deliver compassionate, individualized support to beneficiaries and their families—helping to navigate the complexities of trust oversight with unwavering integrity. By seamlessly integrating a rigorous approach to regulatory obligations with genuine empathy, he preserves Altruist’s tradition of providing protective and dignified services for all under the highest fiduciary standards.

Prior to joining Altruist™, Mr. Foster-Koth held senior fiduciary roles at Pooled Alliance Community Trusts, Perkins Coie Trust Company, Wells Fargo Special Needs Trust, and U.S. Bank Private Client Group, overseeing a broad range of trust portfolios with emphasis on the unique needs of each beneficiary.

In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Foster-Koth has been deeply involved in nonprofit leadership—serving as President of the Board of Trustees for Lifetime Advocacy Plus and previously holding board leadership positions with Lake City Partners Ending Homelessness and Compass Housing Alliance.

Mr. Foster-Koth holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
